Celebrating Hayley – Our First Volunteer
From the very beginning of our journey, there has been one person who has stood out in her unwavering support of our cause – Hayley. She is not only our first volunteer, but a true beacon of determination, kindness, and energy, working tirelessly to help raise awareness and funds for our mission to become a registered charity in memory of Bradley.
Hayley's dedication to this cause has been nothing short of inspiring. From organising charity discos to making sure our horse race nights were well-attended, her passion has been at the heart of everything we’ve done. She goes above and beyond to make every event a success, ensuring that friends, family, and supporters come together to help us raise the funds we need.
What makes Hayley’s involvement even more special is her personal connection to Bradley. Having had the privilege of meeting him and getting to know his cheeky side, Hayley has always been a passionate supporter of our mission. Her relationship with Bradley is one I will always be grateful for, as it also extended to George, offering support when Bradley needed more care due to his condition. George and Hayley’s daughter went to primary school together, which made her even more determined to help.
In addition to her involvement in events, Hayley has helped with a variety of fundraising efforts, including running a bonus ball, a Euro sweepstake, and organizing our first-ever stall. Whether it’s selling bracelets, raffle tickets, or a lovely hamper donated through her husband’s work, Hayley’s generosity and drive to support the charity are evident in everything she does.
Despite her own busy life, balancing work, family, and the many demands of daily life, Hayley has always found the time and energy to help us, all while keeping the spirit of Bradley alive. She and her husband, Adam, have been invaluable in supporting the charity and helping us move closer to our goal of registering as a formal charity.
I am deeply grateful for everything Hayley and Adam have done for us. They are not just supporters; they are part of our family, and I feel incredibly lucky to have them in our lives. Together, we continue to push forward in honoring Bradley’s promise, and I couldn’t do it without the kindness and dedication of people like Hayley.
Thank you, Hayley, for being the incredible person you are, for all your hard work, and for the love and support you’ve shown us every step of the way.
We are incredibly fortunate to have volunteers like Chloe, whose dedication to Bradley’s Promise goes above and beyond. Chloe’s journey with us began through our shared work as veterinary nurses, but it quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Her passion for helping others, especially the cause close to her heart, has made her an invaluable part of our team.
Chloe’s love for nature and the outdoors led her to become a champion for our charity walks. She’s not only an advocate for the cause but has also helped inspire others to join in the effort. Her commitment is evident through her own personal achievements, including completing Snowdon twice—once for Vetlife, a cause important to her as a veterinary nurse, and once more as part of her training to support our walks for Bradley’s Promise.
For those who don’t know, Snowdon is no easy feat! But Chloe’s determination and passion for helping others are unstoppable. I’ve had the privilege of joining her on this journey, and while one trek was more than enough for me, I have nothing but admiration for her strength and perseverance. Chloe’s infectious enthusiasm and drive inspire all of us to push beyond our limits, and she continues to motivate others to join in her mission to raise awareness for Bradley’s Promise.
Chloe’s vast knowledge of walking routes has been a huge benefit to us, as she loves taking on new walks and shares her passion with the community. Her enthusiasm for the outdoors has played a key role in encouraging others to participate in charity walks and raise awareness for Bradley’s Promise. We are incredibly grateful to have someone like Chloe, whose dedication helps inspire others to get involved and make a difference.
Thank you, Chloe, for everything you do. We are so grateful to have you on this journey with us, and we can’t wait to see what other inspiring feats you will accomplish in support of Bradley’s Promise!
