Our Second Adventure Walk: Bredon Hill (With Poppy the Dog!)
After conquering Snowdon, Chloe, Abbie, and I (plus our trusty sidekick, Poppy the dog!) were ready for our next adventure. This time, we decided to explore Bredon Hill, a stunning landmark located in the Vale of Evesham, Worcestershire, England. Known for its panoramic views and diverse landscape, Bredon Hill did not disappoint.
Chloe, our expert guide, led us on the hike, sharing her knowledge of the area as we made our way to the summit. From there, we were treated to breathtaking views of the Cotswold escarpment, the Vale of Evesham, the Malvern Hills, and the Severn Valley.
Poppy had a blast exploring the various walking paths with us. She especially loved the wide-open spaces and the fresh air! We all enjoyed the scenic beauty and rewarding hike. Bredon Hill is truly a perfect spot for both two-legged and four-legged adventurers.
We can't wait to share more adventures with you, and Poppy's always up for the next one!
Conquering Snowdon for Bradley’s Promise: A Journey of Determination and Fundr
On a bright yet challenging day, I set out to conquer Snowdon via the Mines Route, carrying with me a special mission—to take the Bradley’s Promise sign to the summit. With the incredible support of some dear friends, we embarked on this adventure at 9:30 AM, pushing through each step with determination and purpose. After hours of effort, encouragement, and breathtaking scenery, we finally reached the peak. The moment of holding up the Bradley’s Promise sign at the summit was one of pure joy, achievement, and heartfelt remembrance.
The journey didn’t end there; the descent via the Pyg Track was just as demanding, but the sense of accomplishment carried us through. By 5 PM, we had completed the challenge, proving that with determination and support, anything is possible.
This inspiring experience has sparked a new initiative, thanks to my dear friend Chloe from work. She has been moved to support Bradley’s Promise further by wanting to organise guided countryside walks, open to anyone who wants to join. These walks will not only offer a chance to explore beautiful landscapes, but will also serve as a fundraising opportunity to support Bradley’s Promise. Participants will pay a small fee to take part, contributing directly to this important cause.
Don’t worry – we won’t be expecting everyone to tackle Snowdon! The guided walks will be accessible and enjoyable, providing an opportunity for people of all abilities to take part. The goal is to see how many places we can take the Bradley’s Promise sign, spreading awareness while enjoying the great outdoors.
If you’re interested in joining one of these walking adventures, we’d love to hear from you! Whether you’re an avid hiker or just looking for a meaningful way to support a great cause, there’s a place for you on this journey.
Get in touch today and be part of something special – let’s take Bradley’s Promise to even greater heights together!
Stay tuned for upcoming walk routes and join us on this journey!
