🎉 YOUR Night, YOUR Vibe — Social Nights for Young People with Life-Limiting Conditions

Finally... a space that's all about YOU.

Starting Thursday 8th May 2025, Bradley’s Promise is launching something brand new — and it's going to be fun, exciting, and full of energy.

This is your invitation to join our Young People's Social Group — a relaxed and inclusive space for young people aged 16–25 living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and similar life-limiting conditions. There's nothing like this in the area, and you're at the heart of it.

🌟 What’s Happening?

We’ve got an amazing mix of fun-packed nights designed around what you enjoy:

🧠 Quiz Nights — Challenge your mates and win small prizes
🐎 Race Nights — Pick your horse and cheer like crazy!
🎲 Games, movies, food and chill time
🎤 Music, mocktail nights, themed evenings, and more!

This isn’t just a social event — this is the start of a community built by you, for you. Bring your friends, your sense of humour, and your ideas — and help shape what comes next.

✅ Young people aged 16–25 with life-limiting conditions
✅ Friends, siblings, and family are welcome with the young person
✅ Carers should attend where needed (we don't provide personal care)

🌟 A Special Evening That Meant the World – and the Start of Something Bigger 🌟

On Thursday, 8th May, we held our very first social evening, and it was truly special. One young man, Cameron, who lives with a form of muscular dystrophy, joined us. Usually, Cameron spends most of his time isolated in his flat — but that night, he smiled, laughed, connected, and most importantly, felt part of something.

This is exactly why we’ve started this group — to create a welcoming, inclusive, and fun space for young people aged 16–25 who are living with life-limiting conditions or similar challenges.

✨ And we want YOU to be part of it. ✨

If you’re a young person like Cameron — or if you know someone who is — we’d love for you to join us. And bring your friends! This space is for you to enjoy together, to relax, have fun, and be surrounded by people who understand and care.

We're planning:

🎥 Movie evenings

🎮 Games and chill zones
…and much more — based on what you want!

Because this isn’t about fitting into the world — it’s about creating a world that fits you.

📍 Our events are safe, fully accessible, and designed to give you something to look forward to — a place where you belong.

Let’s build a community where no young person is left out because of their health or challenges. Let’s show each other what’s possible when we come together.

Last week Thursday the 18th May, we welcomed another fantastic young man, Harry, to our growing group! 🙌

Harry lives in Telford and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy — and YES, if you're in Telford, you are absolutely part of our community project!

He didn’t come alone either — he brought his own friends with him, and together they had an amazing evening full of laughter, games, and fun. Just take a look at the photos 📸 — they say it all!

These moments matter.
These connections make a difference.
And no one should be left out because of where they live or what challenges they face.

If you're aged 16–25, have a life-limiting condition or similar challenges, and want to be part of something special — you are welcome. And yes, bring your friends! 👯
