Exciting News: Partnership with Hereward College!
We are thrilled to announce that Bradleyโs Promise has partnered with Hereward College to create a monthly Drop-In Information Hub for families supporting young people with life-limiting conditions.
Starting soon, families will be able to book an appointment to visit the Hub, where they can access information, support, and resources from our dedicated team. Students from Hereward College will play a key role, welcoming families, serving tea and coffee, and assisting with the smooth running of the Hub.
We are particularly excited to share that I will be at Hereward College on Thursday, 24th November, to meet parents and explain more about what Bradleyโs Promise does. This is a great opportunity for parents to learn about our work and spread the word to other families.
In addition, we are planning a social evening event for the young people who attend the college! Families will need to be present to support their young people, as Bradleyโs Promise does not provide personal care. It promises to be a fun, inclusive, and social experience for everyoneย
involved.
We at Bradleyโs Promise are so excited about this partnership with Hereward College and their community, and we look forward to creating a warm and welcoming space for families and young people, building connections, and sharing support.

๐ A Special Evening That Meant the World โ and the Start of Something Bigger ๐
On Thursday, 8th May, we held our very first social evening, and it was truly special. One young man, Cameron, who lives with a form of muscular dystrophy, joined us. Usually, Cameron spends most of his time isolated in his flat โ but that night, he smiled, laughed, connected, and most importantly, felt part of something.
This is exactly why weโve started this group โ to create a welcoming, inclusive, and fun space for young people aged 16โ25 who are living with life-limiting conditions or similar challenges.
โจ And we want YOU to be part of it. โจ
If youโre a young person like Cameron โ or if you know someone who is โ weโd love for you to join us. And bring your friends! This space is for you to enjoy together, to relax, have fun, and be surrounded by people who understand and care.
We're planning:
๐ฒ Quiz nights
๐ฅ Movie evenings
๐ Race nights
๐ฎ Games and chill zones
โฆand much more โ based on what you want!
Because this isnโt about fitting into the world โ itโs about creating a world that fits you.
๐ Our events are safe, fully accessible, and designed to give you something to look forward to โ a place where you belong.
Letโs build a community where no young person is left out because of their health or challenges. Letโs show each other whatโs possible when we come together.ย
๐ธ Take a look at some moments from our first night โ and message us if you'd like to join or learn more!
Last week Thursday the 18th May, we welcomed another fantastic young man, Harry, to our growing group! ๐
Harry lives in Telford and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy โ and YES, if you're in Telford, you are absolutely part of our community project!
He didnโt come alone either โ he brought his own friends with him, and together they had an amazing evening full of laughter, games, and fun. Just take a look at the photos ๐ธ โ they say it all!
These moments matter.
These connections make a difference.
And no one should be left out because of where they live or what challenges they face.
If you're aged 16โ25, have a life-limiting condition or similar challenges, and want to be part of something special โ you are welcome. And yes, bring your friends! ๐ฏ
๐ฒ Weโve got quiz nights, chill spaces, games, and more โ and weโre building it around what you want to do.
๐บ๏ธ Check out the map on our community project page to see the full area we cover โ and know this: you belong here.
๐ฉ Message us to find out more or to come along next time!
